Photography is more than a hobby to me. It’s all about passion. Besides, what I’ve learned in still photography helps me a lot in the film-making business. The image above is a great example. It’s an HDR image made from three different exposures merged in an application called photomatix and color corrected in Shake. Yes, I’ve used a post production film tool to finish a still image. Why not? These are all tools, and I believe they are just means working altogether for a better result. By the way, the image above is one of my best shots, it has over a million views, its mentioned at wikipedia as a reference of HDR image, and is currently being used in a TV commercial in Los Angeles, as a 3D reflection map.
